JCS Solutions announced today that Jerry Alvey, CPA, has joined the company as Senior Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer, bringing more than two decades of financial leadership experience supporting growth, operational maturity, and strategic expansion across the government and defense contracting market.
Alvey joins JCS following a 30-year career at VSE Corporation, where he helped guide the company from approximately $216 million to more than $1 billion in revenue. Over the course of his career, he has led financial strategy, acquisitions, operational integration, enterprise risk management, and scalable infrastructure development for complex government contracting organizations.
At JCS, Alvey will lead the company’s financial organization and help position the business for its next phase of growth as the company continues expanding its cybersecurity, AI-enabled automation, data integration, and mission technology capabilities supporting National Security, civilian agencies, and critical mission infrastructure.
“Jerry brings exactly the kind of operational and strategic leadership to help JCS grow without disruption,” said Raji Bezwada, CEO of JCS Solutions. “He understands the financial infrastructure, discipline, and scalability required to support a high-growth federal technology company without losing the agility and accountability that define our culture.”
Alvey was drawn to JCS because of the company’s strong leadership and mission-focused culture, as well as the company’s opportunity for strategic growth.
“JCS is already a well-run company with a strong foundation and tremendous market opportunity,” said Alvey. “What excites me is the chance to help build the operational and financial framework that supports the company’s next stage of growth. JCS has the right leadership mindset, the right culture, and a clear understanding of where the federal technology market is heading.”
Alvey’s experience includes leading acquisitions totaling more than $600 million, improving profitability across complex government programs, and helping organizations modernize financial and operational systems to support long-term scale and performance. He has also advised growth-stage contractors on acquisition integration, audit readiness, compliance alignment, and scalable financial strategy.
“Jerry understands that growing while sustaining delivery excellence and mission focus is about building the operational maturity, financial visibility, and strategic discipline necessary to perform over time,” Bezwada added. “He will play an important role in helping position JCS for the future.”
